We checked out Dear Diary coffee shop which is 100% vegan. We had our first kolache there, as well as a burrito to share. Kolaches are really big in this town, and lots of places sell them. It is hard to tell if you pronounce it with the “e” at the end and we hear different people say it differently. We walked down Congress Avenue and popped into all the different little shops. After, we went and saw the state capitol and there was a quaint indiginous cultural celebration with dancing performances and speakers. We noticed a lot of pro confederacy statues which somewhat surprised us but also kind of didn’t.
