Mosaicultures
Oct 06, 2022 | Quebec City, QC
Erika found a unique event for us to go to called Mosaicultures (like, mosaic + cultures). It happens every 3 or 4 years, usually somewhere in the province of Quebec, but has happened in China and Japan as well. It's a plant sculpture exhibit where they use metal frames pared with small plants to create various animals scenes.

The bagel cafe does "bagel donuts" where they fry and dip the bagels like a donut. This was a cinnamon + sugar one.

Here's the cross section. It might not look too different than a donut, but the texture was definitely denser and breadier. It was good though!

And so I suppose the cookies were made to perhaps celebrate Quebec's 300th anniversary which would have been in 2008
