The Violet Crown

We woke up in the morning to the frat guys having their own little rap concert and DJ in their yard. They had been building two different stages in the few days leading up to this day, and we now got to see what their intended purpose was. The show was over basically before noon, probably due to the college football game that was starting. We got lunch at a build-your-own Mediterranean place called Cava, and then went to a park to eat it on our picnic blanket. We walked around downtown a bit and scoped out the bar strip. They were all blasting the college football game at obscene volumes. We saw some bright fuchsia colored flowers outside of The Cat's Pajamas. Then we went and saw the movie Lamb at the Violet Crown movie theater. The theater is very laid back where they have a bar and a bit higher quality food than the standard American multiplex, and you can bring any beer or food you want into the movie. Afterward we walked around the block and found that the movie theater area (2nd Street) had some of the nicer lounges and bars that we’d seen so far.
