Harry Ransom Museum

We woke up to some tortillas that had been thrown onto the roof of our neighboring frat house. We went to the Harry Ransom museum at the university. There, they had a huge bible called the Gutenberg Bible. Erika took a picture of it to send to her dad. They had an exhibit on the author of 1000 Years of Solitude and talked about a lot of authors that come from a Hispanic background. They had a cool looking edition of Ulysses by James Joyce that was published in Mexico in 1949 (which calls it Ulises, instead). That night, there was an insane lightning storm. We could even hear the loud thunder all the way in our bedroom which was tucked far away from any windows, and were woken up a couple times from it.
